Junior Kylie Wenger and senior Meagan Larsen combined for a total of 23 digs to lead the team defensively but the the Lady Wildcats lost to Melbourne High School 21-25, 18-25, 17-25 Friday to fall to 9-4 for the season.

“This week has been tough on the Lady Wildcats,” Coach Bonnie Priester said. “We need to regroup and play harder as a team.”

The team lost to Cocoa Beach High School in three sets Thursday.

Despite the losses, the Lady Wildcats continue to hold high expectations for the remainder of the season and will be making the necessary changes to accomplish these goals during practice on Monday, according to Priester.
