Senior Meagan Larsen and Junior Kylie Wenger combined for a
total of 23 digs in a five set match against Cocoa Beach High School in the
West Shore gym where  the Lady Wildcats lost  18-25, 25-12, 25-21, 19-25, 10-15.

“Tonight was a hard-fought match against district opponent
Cocoa Beach,” Coach Bonnie Priester said. “We came out slow in the first set
but picked up momentum in the second and third sets.”

Unforced errors seemed to be the Lady Wildcats biggest enemy.
Their combined passing and hitting errors racked up several points on the
scoreboard for Cocoa Beach.

“The fifth set was a disappointing loss,” Priester said. “Hopefully,
the Lady Wildcats learned that they must be ready to play at the first whistle.”
