Girls’ swim team remains unbeaten

Freshman Kayla Stevens set a school record in the 100-yard breast stroke, and the 400-yard freestyle relay team of seniors Kelly Stokes, Nikki Gregory, Bernadette Murphy and freshman Emily Dubek-Hunter set a school record as the girls’ swim team beat Merritt Island 93-90 and Rockledge 100-77 at Rockledge High School on Tuesday. The team is now 6-0.

“All girls’ school records except the 200 yard freestyle relay are now owned by the current girls team,” Coach Mike Rochelle said.

The boys’ team lost to Merritt Island with a score of 97-79 and to Rockledge 100-80 to even its record at 3-3.
