Boys’ basketball team loses to Cocoa in district play

The boys’ basketball team lost to the Cocoa High School Tigers 61-43 in the first round of district play Tuesday at Holy Trinity. The Wildcats finished the regular season with a 10-14 record after defeating Edgewood Junior/Senior High School 63-53 on Feb. 4.

Senior Will Dawson led the team in scoring for the season with an average of 10.9 points a game. He also lead the team in rebounding with an average of 7.9 a game.

“The Eau Gallie game was the most memorable game for me because I had a double-double in that game with 12 points and double digits in rebounds,” Dawson said.

Junior Adam Kline led the team in average assists with 2.5 for the season.
