Media center rearranges to make room for more books

On Jan. 12, the media center’s collection of fiction books was rearranged to make room for new arrivals.

According to assistant Cindy Farrington, the media center tries to purchase new books to complete series that it already has, or as students request them.

“Anything you request, we look for,” Farrington said.

The books are still arranged alphabetically by the author’s surname, but the plastic towers that previously contained Lemony Snicket’s Series of Unfortunate Events and graphic novels, such as Death Note, are now empty, their contents relocated to fiction section of the media center.
