The Winter Concert will be held at the Eau Gallie High School auditorium at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 28. Band Director Carol Allen, expects the concert to take no longer than an hour and a half. Starting with the beginning band followed by the advanced band, then wind ensemble, ending with the jazz band.

While the concerts are normally held in the school auditorium, showing the middle school and high school bands on separate dates because of limited space, Allen chose to hold it at the Eau Galle auditorium this year so all the bands can play in one night.

“I’m glad it’s being held at Eau Gallie,” sophomore Michelle Smith said.  “It’s a nicer auditorium, so it’ll be a better experience for the families. Plus it’s such a large auditorium all the bands will be there instead of holding two different concerts. That way the families can hear the range of talents.”

The concert is free and open to all, but Allen is asking for any small donations to help cover the cost of the performance being held at Eau Gallie.
