With exams looming, students start to stress

With Thanksgiving Break over and done with, West Shore students are all quickly scrambling to get back into their old routines with the looming threat of exam week hanging over their heads.

Junior Tessa Smith said she’s already starting to feel the pressure.

“I’m so ready to get exams over with — although I’m a bit apprehensive about my exam schedule,” Smith said. “I have [Advanced Placement Environmental Science and Advanced Topics back to back, which are two courses that are going to require some major studying.”

Junior Piper Jenkins also is anticipating midterm exams which will be given Dec. 16-21.

“Thanksgiving break was so great,” Jenkins said. “However with exams creeping closer and closer, I feel like these next weeks contain a pile of stress just waiting for me.”
