Weather change affects surfers

As the weather can’t make up its mind, changing from cold to hot, the wind keeps stirring and affecting local surfers.

“Over last week the waves have been small, but it is supposed to build up over the next few days,” local surfer Grant Fontaine said. “If the wind sails on shore then the waves will be choppy.”

Recently the waves have only been two-feet and glassy. The expected change from onshore wind to offshore wind will make great surf.

“The weather is so on and off between hot and cold weather,”  local surfer Sierra Condo said. “It’s so annoying because I have to change into my wet suit which is a pain.”
