Unpaid library fines will hinder registration

Students receiving overdue notices from the media center should settle their accounts as soon as possible, according to media center assistant Cindy Farrington.

“You are not able to register [for fall classes] unless you pay your fines,”  she said. “If you have lost a book, either pay for it or give the media center the money to replace the book.”

Sophomore Andrew says he’ll likely continue to procrastinate.

“I was late turning in my book “Twilight”  in,  and I still haven’t paid my fine,” he said, adding that he hopes his mother will pay the fine at registration in August.
