SADD focuses on anti-bullying

In an effort to raise awareness about the effect of bullying on campus, the Students Against Destructive Decisions club has decided to focus more heavily on anti-bullying this year than on anti-drug and alcohol campaigns as it has in the past.

Junior Maggie Rice says it’s important to bring attention to the issue of bullying and that the club’s various posters around school will help do this.

“We have a couple new ideas this year because [School Resource] Officer [Chuck] Landmesser is getting involved, and he’s really enthusiastic,” said Molly Minta, project coordinator.

Their next anti-bullying campaign will be in February, and Minta hopes to do even more events in that realm.
