NHS launches Random Acts of Kindness

Members of the National Honor Society are planning a new monthly project.

“Random Acts of Kindness is where we give teachers food or invite them out to eat to say thank you for all you’ve done,” NHS sponsor Melissa Henderson said.

If students think of suggestions for future events, they may present them to Henderson.

“Anything is appreciated,” senior and NHS President Caleb Bryant said.

Henderson said she wants to get students involved throughout the year, including dressing up during Red Ribbon Week.

“My expectation for someone joining the NHS is that the member should be proud and thankful for being a part of the club,” Henderson said.
