Graphic arts students to enter work in juried show

All Advanced Placement and Computer Graphics 2 students will be enter art work in the The 12th Annual Straw Bridge Art League juried art show art show to be held Henegar Center in downtown Melbourne on April 19-25.

“The show offers an exciting venue where many of Brevard’s most talented artists showcase their work,” computer graphics teacher Jim Finch said. “I strongly believe our West Shore students will perform well at this competition.”

Not all who enter will have art featured in the show, but students who place can win cash prizes.

“It should be a fun show,” junior Tim Widere said. “I am an award-winning artist and have been in several shows before, but I don’t know what to expect. Maybe I’ll win.”
