Eighth-grader Lydia K. has won four most valuable player awards and her AAU basketball team, the Florida Lady Comets, have won six tournaments this year.

The Lady Comets whose record is 28-1 hope to win their next tournament in Jupiter this weekend.

“We have a team to where we can go small and fast, big or both, so we can make it to where other teams can’t guard us,” Kline said.
