Cheerleading team schedules tryouts

The cheerleading team has scheduled tryouts for the 2011-12 school year.  Choreography will be taught in the gym from 3:45 p.m. to 6 p.m. April 27, April 29,and May 4.  Participants will be evaluated May 6 from 3:45 p.m. to 6 p.m.  All male and female students are welcomed to attend.

“We will be teaching the fight song, a dance routine, a sideline, a cheer and jumps,” Coach Carrie Wadzinski said.

Those auditioning must wear school colors which consist of navy blue, white, silver and gray.

“Wearing West Shore colors is a great way to show your school spirit,” veteran cheerleader, Vincent Guglietta said.

Those wishing to try out must have a copy of their birth certificate, a copy of their last report card, a current physical form and parental consent.
